Filming Blast #5

Blogger Girl Here Again, Your One And Only Source Into The Scandalous Lives of Media Studies' Elite.

- We finally made it to the last day of filming!!! It was a long journey but we are finally here :) This day of filming was pretty short because we were just missing a couple of short scenes to bring our movie opener together!! Like I mentioned in the last filming blast, we were missing our poster so for this one, we made sure to have it!!

The Daily Rundown:

- Day Four of filming took place on March 31st at 6:00 pm! All we really needed to film was Juliet walking into her school and stepping on the poster that would completely change her life!

  • Thankfully, we had doors in our high school, Everglades High School, that were the same color as the ones that we filmed on our last day of filming at the Elementary school right next to my house! We had sarah open the door, come in, and walk in towards the hallway! these scenes were super easy to film and took less than 3 minutes!

  • The next scenes that I filmed were sort of a POV shot/ tracking of Juliet's feet while she walks and approaches the poster. We tried letting Sarah film the shot herself to cut any sounds that my feet were making, but it got pretty complicated and didn't look right. What we ended up doing was I walked right next to sarah and as soon as she stepped on the poster, she stayed there and I moved directly on top of the poster to capture a Cutting-On-Action shot! These shots came out perfectly! Thankfully we had Emily behind the camera taking these behind-the-scenes pics and helping us navigate through the storyboard!

  • Lastly, we filmed a clear up-close POV shot of the poster that really allowed the audience to focus on the content of the poster. On it, we used the phrase, "Be a Star" to tie in the movie title and explain where Juliet has been in thievery first  scene of the movie opening. We hope this makes it clear to the audience where Juliet is at the beginning go the movie and to pay attention to her personality now and how it was at the beginning in the dressing room!

  • And just like that, we FINALLY FINISHED FILMING! I had never felt for relived in my life! Filming was actually done! now its time for me to focus on saving these videos to my phone (which will take FOREVER, and editing the entire movie together) Hope to see you soon!

You know you love me,
