Main Character Spotted!!

Evening Upper Media Siders, you know who it is, it's your favorite Media Studies site with more information than ever.

Thanks for coming back to find out more about our main character: Juliet :) Today's blog is all about Her!! We are going into extreme detail about Juliet.

Who is Juliet Really??

Physicality

How does Juliet look like? Juliet is a short, (about 5'2), dark haired Hispanic teenage girl. Since she is played by our lead actress, Sarah, her physical characters match her. She has brown hair, a pixie haircut, small nose,  thin eyebrows, and brown eyes.

Costuming

The beginning of our movie opener, Juliet will be wearing a very rock/punk 80s outfit. She will be channeling her rockstar vibes in this scene. When we are flashed to the present, before she finds her inner rock star attitude, she will wear a very modern and basic teenage girl outfit. Which would be a floral, white shirt with blue mom jeans. We want her in this outfit so she could basically blend in easily with the rest of her society.

Props

We have one main prop that is very important when it comes to Juliet's life. It is the rock concert poster. Her intrigue regarding the poster will reflect her true wishes, which differs from the life she is currently living and what she displays to the rest of society. Other minor props that we will be using is a backpack, hairbrush, hair ties, etc.  (very basic teenage girl necessities)

Personality

I feel like a broken record since I keep using the words basic and normal when it comes to describing Juliet but it truly encompassed the type of person she is! In a coming of age movie, the main character is always a basic teenage girl who just wants to blend in with the other girls in her world. Her real personality comes into light when she is a punk rockstar!! she turns into a extroverted, loud, full of energy, and just happy person.

Mentality

Juliet is not in the right head space. She is getting through life at the bare minimum, and not happy with her life at the moment. She has such big dreams and aspirations that just live in her head. She blocks that side of herself out and lives in fear of other people opinions. She feels suffocated, superseded and allows herself to be brought down by others. She has a negative mindset when it comes to most things and has a hard time finding positive energy and can't see that everything is going to be okay.

Thats Juliet, your typical teenage girl who wears Brandy Melville, drinks caramel iced coffee, always carries a load of chapsticks that turns into a rock star punk putting on shows for hundreds of people and making amazing music.

You know you love me,
